Well, there’s good news according to new research from Right Management, the talent and career management expert within Manpower, the global leader in employment services. In fact, job seekers who focus on selling their experience or technical skills may be missing the mark in today’s job market.
Leaders Emphasize Personal Characteristics over Experience
During the first quarter of this year, more than 800 North American senior human resources professionals and business leaders noted what they felt contributed most to “immediate, on-the-job performance.” The results surprised some. Here is what they found:
