The 2011 Street League Skateboarding Series gets under way on May 7 and 8 in Seattle, WA with a stop at the Key Arena; then moves on to Kansas CIty, MO in June; travels to Glendale, AZ in July; and concludes in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center. In 2010, Street League and ESPN sealed a deal to distribute the skateboarding contests and they were aired with a delay of a week or two. In 2011, the finals will be aired live – precisely what skateboarding fans want.

Rob Dyrdek's Street League

Street League is the creation of pro skateboarder, MTV star and entrepreneur, Rob Dyrdek. Twenty-four of the world's best skateboarders will be battling for $1.6 million in prize money; there are $200,000, a ring and a watch on the line for the winner of the championship in August. Ten skaters from the series will make it to the championships, and the winners from each event get Golden Tickets to the championship along with the seven highest-ranking skaters.
