Green building conferences are attracting increasing numbers of participants, as more people recognize the economic opportunities in energy efficient design. Featuring everything from green products to market and capital opportunities, conferences are both educational and networking events.
Alberta’s Green Building Symposium is a venue for bringing together professionals from the building industry, government departments concerned with export opportunities and economic development, and entrepreneurs with green products for sale. The Calgary event December 8-9, 2009 features two streams, green design and going green in business.
Partners in putting on the conference are the Calgary Regional Partnership, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Calgary Region, Alberta International and Intergovernmental Relations, Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development and Alberta Finance and Enterprise.
