TWICKENHAM Film Studios, where movie classics including The Italian Job and Bladerunner were shot, is set to close.
The studios, where War Horse and The Iron Lady were filmed more recently, has gone into administration and is expected to close around June.
Gerald Krasner, who is handling the administration, said half the loss-making firm's 17 staff had already left and the remainder would be let go over the next three months.
He added that a deal for the building was already at an advanced stage and it was unlikely to remain a film studio. He refused to comment further on the deal.
